SABELA GAGO

Degree in Pedagogy and Diploma in Teaching.

She lives in Ourense where she combines her activity as an actress and theater teacher in the company Sarabela Theater, with the work of revitalizing reading in Councils, County Councils, Libraries and Educational Centers in Galicia.

Formed from 1975 to the present day with masters such as Vicente Fuentes, Garrido Guzmán, Els Comediants, Ángel Facio, Isabel Úbeda, Fabio Mangolini, Ernesto Caballero or Helena Pimenta.

Founder in 1980 of Sarabela Theater has worked in administration and management, production, marketing, direction, teaching and participated as an actress in shows such as Many (2007), Macbeth (2006), That's how five years pass (2003), Sexist (2001), The Esmorga (1996) or Cama (1990) with which he won the Compostela Award for Interpretation. She was also an actress in CDG shows Leoncio and Lena (1994) e A Midsummer Night's Dream (1992) and participated in the audiovisuals: life ahead from TVG (2006), when you come back to my side by Gracia Querejeta and Meals from the School of A Coruña.

He teaches theater at the Ourense University Campus directing and co-directing street shows Tower of Lemos, show held at the Tower of Homage in Monforte during the summer months.

Coordinates MITEU (Ourense International University Theater Show) since 2011 and FITO (Ourense International Theater Festival).
